Scope of Works
The Swinburne Virtual Universe at Hawthorn Campus is a first-of-its-kind immersive 3D facility centred around a 100m² stereoscopic LED screen, bringing real scientific data to life through advanced stereoscopic visualisation. As a genuinely unique facility, the project required close collaboration with specialist technology providers to ensure the electrical infrastructure could reliably support the screen's demanding performance requirements.
Electrical scope:
- Full electrical services delivery supporting the stereoscopic LED screen and its associated control and visualisation technology
- Communications infrastructure supporting the facility's research, education and demonstration functions
- Close coordination with the wider project team to integrate services around the technical requirements of a first-of-its-kind installation
