Pacific Fair Epping

Pacific Fair Epping required a complex Main Switchboard upgrade, delivered within a live retail environment where maintaining continuous supply to the centre and its tenants throughout the works was a non-negotiable requirement.

Electrical scope:

• Full relocation of electrical services from the existing Main Switchboard to a new switch room, including fit-out of the room itself and set-out of its layout
• New consumer mains cabling and Type 2 sub-mains installed to support the new switchboard configuration
• Terminations completed across three existing transformers within the substation, with particular focus on accurate cable sizing and jointing
• Close coordination with the Distribution Network Service Provider (DNSP) and site stakeholders throughout planning and delivery
• Temporary generator connections managed to maintain continuous supply to the centre and its tenants during the transition
• A precisely staged cutover executed across five consecutive nights, minimising disruption to the live retail environment
