Bombardier

Scope of Works
Hangar 82 at Essendon Fields is a 50,000 sq ft aviation facility, developed by Bombardier as its Melbourne service centre. As one of Bombardier's key aviation maintenance facilities in the region, the project required the integration of multiple complex building systems within a single large-format industrial envelope, supporting full operational readiness for a global aviation brand from day one.
Electrical scope:
- Full electrical installation across the 50,000 sq ft facility, including power distribution to workshop, hangar and office areas
- Integrated security systems, protecting aircraft, equipment and sensitive operational areas across the site
- Communications infrastructure supporting both operational and administrative functions
- Coordination of complex building systems throughout construction to align with the facility's aviation- grade operational requirements
Since practical completion, JMP has continued its relationship with Bombardier, delivering ongoing maintenance and minor works across the facility, reflecting the trust placed in JMP as a long-term service partner for critical aviation infrastructure.
Let's talk about what's in the pipeline.
Whether it's a single site or a multi-stage project, our team is ready to scope it properly and get moving.
