Airport Toyota

Scope of Works
Airport Toyota at Essendon Fields is a flagship automotive facility for which JMP delivered the full electrical and communications package, from early-stage authority and infrastructure works through to final fitout and commissioning. The scale and staging of the project required JMP to manage everything from ground-up utility connection through to showroom-level finishing detail.
Electrical scope:
- Installation and coordination of a new on-site transformer, establishing dedicated power supply capacity for the site
- Consumer mains and main switchboard installation
- Electrical reticulation and submain distribution across the site, connecting workshop, showroom and ancillary buildings
- DALI lighting control system installation and commissioning, providing precise, zoned lighting control across the facility
- External lighting and light pole installation, supporting site safety and presentation
- EV charging infrastructure, supporting the dealership's transition toward electrified vehicle servicing
- Workshop power and specialised wiring for automotive servicing equipment
- Showroom electrical services and in-ground floor boxes, integrated into the display floor without compromising the architectural finish
- Civil works and underground infrastructure supporting the site's electrical reticulation
Delivered in collaboration with 2Construct, Essendon Fields and Active Utilities, with close alignment across authority, civil and construction interfaces, the project stands as a significant example of JMP's capability delivering complex electrical solutions across large-scale commercial developments.
